Assessments

Content

I provide assessments for children (6+), adolescents and adults. I offer cognitive (intellectual), educational (specific learning disorders) and neurodevelopmental assessments (ADHD and Autism). I utilise highly regarded assessment tools, including the WISC/WAIS, WIAT, CARS-2 and DIVA-5. The evaluation begins with an initial interview to discuss your needs and confirm the required assessment. Assessment sessions, interviews and questionnaires follow this. All assessments include a comprehensive written report and a feedback session. Fees for assessments vary depending on individual needs, and your assessment will be tailored to you.

What You Need to Know

Understanding how to access and pay for psychological therapy can feel overwhelming, but I'm here to make the process simple and stress-free. Whether you're eligible for a Medicare rebate through a Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP) or seeking private support, the below will help you navigate payment options, insurance claims, and policies.

Affordable Therapy with Medicare

A Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP), prepared by your GP, can make therapy more affordable. It provides a limited number of sessions per year with a Medicare rebate. Speak with your GP about eligibility before booking your first appointment. Even without a referral, or MHCP, you can still see us privately.

Payments and Rebates

We are a pay-on-the-day service, and therefore, session fees must be paid before or immediately after your session. You can securely store your credit card details with us for easy processing. If you have a current MHCP, we will process your Medicare rebate for you once the session fee is paid.

Third Party Funding

I happily accept clients with approved TAC, CPA, WorkCover and DVA claims. I am also able to work with self-managed or plan-managed NDIS participants. We are committed to avoiding out-of-pocket costs for those accessing therapy through external providers.

Cancellations

Cancelling less than two full business days before your appointment will incur a late cancellation fee. If the appointment is rebooked, no fee will be applied. Please note, fees are not covered by Medicare or most third-party funders
